“What do you want to eat,” he asks, as you sit on the couch, scrolling through Netflix.
“I don’t know, whatever you want,” is your response…like it always is.
DallasBeerBabe to the rescue!
This week, DBB teamed up with some up and coming Dallas bloggers to see where their “go to” spots are to eat a good meal and have a cold beer.
DallasMunchies knows a thing or two about great spots around Dallas.
Having more than 400 Instagram followers, this foodie is a natural for finding hidden gems around the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
“I really like Public School in West Village they have good selection and a lot of local brews,” said DM. The cool atmosphere is the perfect place to eat a great meal. DM suggests ordering the chicken tenders (a secret menu item). They come with fries that are delish! And what goes good with fries, or anything for that matter? BEER. “They have a great variety of beer…so pair that with great food is a win for me,” said DM.
“They have a a very knowledgable and friendly waitstaff that love to encourage you to try new beers and take the time to find out what you like. They also have a bomb a** menu for food including duck fat fries covered in brown gravy duck confit and cheese,” said OTB.
Heading down to Deep Ellum, Dive Into Deep Ellum suggested I go to his favorite spot: Cold Beer Company.
Of course I wasn’t going to say no, that’s one of my favorite spots to go to as well!
“I like a lot of places but Cold Beer Company is the best in Deep Ellum,” said DIDE.
CBC is located at the end of Main Street. Its location is just far enough to hide from the Saturday night crowds, but also close enough so that you still feel like you’re in Deep Ellum.
My favorite spot right now has got to be The Alamo Draft House. There are two locations in Dallas and just like a mother with multiple kids, they both have their differences but I love them equally.
The newest location is in the Cedars area looking over I30. It has a great view of downtown Dallas and two patios.
I’m also a big fan of this place because of its fabulous karaoke rooms.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you read that correctly. Being a person who originally wanted to major in karaoke-but couldn’t- this is my “go to” place to sing as loud as I can to my friends (not including in the car).
So the next time you’re in a stand off to find a great place to eat and drink, just check out some these suggestions or visit DallasMunchies, On The Block, or Dive Into Deep Ellum to satisfy your inner foodie!
